Give the Gift of "Family"

Dear Friend,

Most of us look forward to the holiday season as a time of good tidings and great cheer, of families reconnecting, for laughter and sharing.

But for some, this time of year can be lonely.

Rauch’s programs serve 1,000 children and adults with disabilities each year. And the fact is, some of those people have no one to count on but us. Their family may live far away, they may have become estranged, or perhaps they are simply the only ones left.

Our programs serve people like David, who has received Rauch services for over 30 years. Although he doesn't see his relatives often, he’s far from lonely. He has a whole host of people around him who love him and feel truly privileged to fill that void.

David lives with two roommates who feel like family in a beautiful new home at Rauch’s Hawthorn Glen housing development. He has staff who care for him deeply, and he has dozens of friends at his job at Rauch Industries. We listen to and encourage him. We cherish the opportunity to celebrate milestones, like his 59th birthday earlier this year. We make sure he realizes dreams, like the vacation he recently enjoyed in Gatlinburg.

And we’ll ensure that Christmas morning is no disappointment, either.

Your support provides Rauch the honor of serving as David’s “family”, and helps us meet the needs of others who depend on our care every day. Please donate online today
