Children's Services

Children learn and develop best through play experiences. This philosophy has guided Rauch's family-centered children's services since 1953. Choosing a Rauch provider for your child's early intervention needs ensures that your therapist meets the highest level of professional standards. We work to support your child socially, emotionally, physically, and mentally, which is why Rauch offers such a wide variety of services.

Early Intervention

Early Intervention

The Rauch First Steps Provider Network consists of over 50 skilled, caring therapists with a passion for working with children. We have therapists available in the fields of Occupational, Physical, Speech, and Developmental therapies. First Steps assures that all Indiana families with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities have access to the services they need, when they need them.

One parent, Matt, said nothing, but good has come from his son Jasper's Early Intervention. "I feel immensely better about what his life might be like."

Early Intervention services are offered in the home to children enrolled in the program. Hours of service are flexible based on the needs of the child and family.

Preschool

Grow-n-Learn Preschool

Grow-n-Learn Preschool provides a positive learning experience in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The preschool is led by Developmental and Occupational Therapists and is specially designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years old with developmental delays. The therapists work with the children in small groups to improve communication, social, cognitive, self-help, and fine, gross, and motor skills.

This skill-building is incorporated into day-to-day activities such as reading and snack time. Children's Services Director Amelia Williams said kids make significant progress in their time at the preschool.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp

Rauch Inc. offers a summer program for children with special needs. A team of dedicated and experienced teachers join forces to offer six weeks of discovery for kids with developmental disabilities ages 9-17. They use a variety of means including field trips, entertaining activities and in-house events. The goal is to develop and maintain your child's skills, broaden their horizons, increase social skills, and provide respite for families. During the camp, attendees experience sensory-motor activities and communication and social skills enhancement, plus they have fun! Activities include trips to destinations such as the Louisville Zoo, Louisville Science Center, Bats games, and much more. Summer Camp is made possible in part by funding from the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS).
